Taste assessment: Melt-in-the-mouth golden discs made up of wheat flour, a whopping 33 per cent Parmesan cheese and poppy seeds dotted around the edges. These are small enough to put a whole one in at once, and eating them at your desk is an exquisite experience — I felt I should have been at a cocktail party. Following the last peppery crunch, the lovely warmth of cayenne pepper hugged the roof of my mouth for minutes afterwards. No wonder they have just been awarded a Great Taste 2013 gold award.
