Stories - bar review

This is the kind of place you could go for brunch and end up drinking cocktails until the small hours
Kate Lough6 June 2013

The buzz: "The little sibling of The Book Club offering a hub for all-day brunch and a cosy bolthole for cocktails on Broadway Market."

The deal: We loved the laid-back Aussie vibe and especially enjoyed the cactus garden at the back. We could have happily drunk our way right through the cocktail list and spiked juices at £6-£8 each.

Good for: weeknight drinks and after the market on Saturdays.

Order: the LOVE (vodka, raspberry purée, lemon and prosecco and a dash of sugar) or, for more of a kick, the SOB’s Hendrick’s gin and mango mix with a hint of chilli.

By the way: come for regular “thinking and drinking” classes around a communal table.
