Big Brother roadshow comes to town

Staff Reporter5 April 2012

It was nearly the end of Big Brother after the Shilpa Shetty 'racism' furore but the reality TV roadshow rumbles on and Channel 4 producers arrive in London this weekend for the final round of open auditions for Big Brother Eight.

There's no need to fill in an application form or produce a wacky video as producers will simply select people who stand out in the queues to go through to the next stage.

If you make it through the door, you'll enter one of the diary rooms and will be given 60 seconds to sell yourself to Big Brother for the chance to sacrifice your privacy, and most likely your dignity, for fifteen minutes of fame.

You have to be aged 18 or over when the series starts, so make sure you take along some photo ID and, of course, you have to be available to take part in the summer. If you can't be bothered to queue in the cold, E4.com is offering potential housemates the chance to apply online for the first time this year. Visit www.E4.com to find out more.

Big Brother auditions, Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 February 2007 from 9am. ExCel London, One Western Gateway, Royal Victoria Dock, E16. Tel: 020 7069 5000, email info@excel-london.co.uk or visit www.channel4.com /bigbrother/auditions
