Kellie Bright looks set to dance her way to victory after topping the leaderboard on Strictly Come Dancing.

The EastEnders actress, who has been juggling filming with dance practice, bagged herself three tens from the judges during Saturday’s semi-finals.

Other than her ‘little wobble’ during her first dance, Len Goodman called her rumba ‘perfect’ although Bruno Tonioli wanted it to be a bit ‘hotter’.

Craig Revel Horwood also dubbed it ‘almost perfect, praising her for putting in the work this week.

The star really came into her own during her second dance, which hard-to-please Revel Horwood simply called a ‘classic’.

Partner Kevin Clifton told Claudia Winkleman that he was ‘so proud’ of Bright who had been working from 7am though to midnight every day.

Georgia May Foote also had a good week after finding herself in the bottom two last Sunday.

The Coronation Street actress, who has been ill all week, impressed the judges with her cha cha and her Viennese Waltz during Saturday night’s show.

Back with a bang after being in the dance-off last week, the judges dubbed her second dance ‘exquisite’, earning her a score of 38.

Jay McGuiness was also praised for his ‘fun and quirky’ Doctor Who-inspired Charlston, which saw him get into character as the time lord.

Katie Derham and Anton Du Beke found themselves at the bottom of the leader board after getting mixed reactions.

Goodman said of her first dance: “The song was hot, you looked hot but the dance was not, it was a struggle. It wasn’t slick enough and some of the lifts looked clumsy.”

Although her second dance was better, Derham got a measly four points from Revel Horwood for the performance.

The Strictly Come Dancing 2015 final will be broadcast on BBC One next Saturday.
