Jodie Comer has revealed she has been approached for Strictly Come Dancing – but doesn’t want to “embarrass” herself.
The Killing Eve star, who plays murderous Villanelle in the BBC America thriller, was spotted in the Strictly audience last month.
She revealed she will be sticking to the sidelines even after being tapped up by bosses at Elstree over a fear of looking stupid – and her busy work schedule.
Comer told The Sun: “They were like, ‘Maybe next year, Jodie ... ?’ I was like, ‘Mmm, no, I don’t think so!’ I’d embarrass myself, definitely!
“I went with my mum and my nan because my nan is a Strictly superfan. It was a once in a lifetime for her so it was really fun.”
The 25-year-old joked that the filming had “killed the magic” for her nan after seeing all the cameras whip around the studio during the show.
In the hit show, which recently teased a first look at the upcoming second series, Comer plays a glamorous Russian assassin who is paid large sums of money to kill targets.

Her murders attract the attention of bored MI5 security officer Eve Polastri, played by Sandra Oh, who makes it her mission to find and stop Villanelle.
After their epic game of cat-and-mouse, the final scenes ended with Villanelle being stabbed in the stomach by Eve before disappearing from her flat.
Strictly declined to comment when contacted by Standard Online.
