I’m A Celebrity’s Nick Knowles was stunned into disbelief after finding out his cover of Make You Feel My Love had topped the iTunes chart.

The DIY SOS presenter landed the top spot with the Adele cover after Radio X DJ Chris Moyles launched a campaign.

Knowles was shocked to hear of his success after receiving a letter from his son TJ.

Read by James McVey, the letter said: “I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you how very proud I am of you, not only in terms of how you are doing in the camp, but most importantly how proud I am that you're my dad.

“Just to let you know, you owe Chris Moyles a pint, as despite everything last week him and his radio team managed to get Make you feel my love to number one in the iTunes Chart.”

Knowles told the Bush Telegraph: “If it's true it's very, very lovely.

“It's very difficult to believe, but if people are doing that, then thank you.”

Moyles started a campaign to propel the track to the top spot, which was then backed by Knowles’ official social media accounts.

The 56-year-old first revealed his musical prowess during a chat with Emily Atack, telling her how he was signed by major record label Universal.

He said: “My brother’s a really good musician and I’ve always played along with him and a couple of years ago somebody heard me, I was playing on a rooftop bar in Soho with some other bands.
