Hollywood star Patrick Swayze has set a date for his West End debut. Swayze will open in Guys and Dolls at London's Piccadilly Theatre this Thursday.

The actor was forced to postpone his debut earlier this month after suffering a chest infection, which caused him to miss rehearsals.

There have been rumours the 53-year-old actor is suffering from stage fright, which he has denied.

Swayze will play gambling man Nathan Detroit in the hit show. Former Brookside actress Claire Sweeney stars as his love interest Miss Adelaide.
