Sir Tom Jones will perform an extra night at this year’s Greenwich Music Time (GMT) after his first performance completely sold out.

The Welsh singer, 74, will now take to the stage at The Old Royal Naval College on Monday July 27, in addition to his already-scheduled show on July 26, to finish a series of performances from Gipsy Kings, Ray Davies and George Benson.

Peter Taylor, of GMT Organisers Cuffe & Taylor said: “Perhaps unsurprisingly we’ve had to put an additional date on sale to cope with the overwhelming demand for tickets to see Sir Tom performing against the beautiful backdrop of the Old Royal Naval College this summer.

Tickets for the new date go on sale at 9am on Friday May 15, and can be bought at greenwichmusictime.co.uk.
