The Silent House is truely a murder mystery

10 April 2012

The chief wonder of this horror, directed by Gustavo Hernández, is that it was filmed with a digital camera in one single shot.

Based on a true murder-mystery of the Forties, it stars Florencia Colucci as the daughter of a builder who has been instructed to clear up a house near a small village so it can be sold.

The two of them spend the night in the house and strange noises wake the girl in the early hours.

She investigates and finds her father has been murdered, as is a passing friend called in by the supposedly terrified girl to help. It would spoil things to say more, but we end up with no idea what really happened.
