Wannabe journalist, Erin, and music PR man, Garrett, love soft drugs, video games and honesty. They hate The Jonas Brothers and corporate bullshit.
Erin and Garrett are played by Drew Barrymore and Justin Long and herein lies the problem. This pair (boy and girlfriend in real life) are toxically bland and often zone-out in the middle of their own adorable shtick.
When Erin and Garrett’s cross-country relationship starts to experience turbulence, the promising script — by newcomer Geoff LaTulippe — nose-dives. Soon, Garrett’s friends are making jokes about Hitler-moustaches. I lost the will to live.
