A movie featuring graphic sex scenes will be given a gala performance at the London Film Festival.

Shortbus is one of the most explicit films to been given a certificate for mainstream cinema, receiving an 18 rating.

It features self-fellatio and ejaculation alongside scenes of straight, gay and lesbian sex.

It will be the festival's Film on the Square gala movie on 24 October and will go on general release in UK cinemas on 1 December.
