At the Edinburgh Fringe 2012, the Boy with Tape on his Face arrived as a relative unknown but became the most talked about mute at the festival.

The Boy's (real name Sam Wills) act has quickly been polished up into a full-blown gag-athon, with slapstick, mime and plenty of audience interaction — of both the willingly given and coerced kind.
