The self-mocking star of BBC3 sitcom How Not to Live Your Life has been a stand-up and a sketch performer, and in his new show he moves into musical comedy backed by a full band. If the lyrical swipes at Simon Cowell and Justin Bieber don’t get you, his singalong Bon Jovi power ballad will.

London Storytelling Festival
Narrative meets jokesmithery at this annual festival. Highlights this weekend include skilful character comedian Jo Neary (Sunday) recalling unrequited love in Youth Club and Aussie Asher Treleaven (Sunday) telling his hippyish life story.
