Happy returns as Greetings rallies

International Greetings today unveiled strong full-year results and says it is in good shape to exploit further opportunities in the market.

The gift wrap, crackers, cards, stationery and accessories specialist saw sales from continuing operations rise 9 per cent to £217 million in the year to the end of March.

Profit for the year was up to £4.9 million from just £0.7 million last time and debt fell by 9 per cent to £44.4 million.
