Google buys Dublin's tallest office block

Controversial: while the move will benefit Ireland, questions have been raised over Google's motives

Web giant Google has bought Dublin's tallest office block for 99.9 million (£84 million) in a deal which claws back funds for the Irish taxpayer.

NAMA chairman Frank Daly said: "Based on the sale price, all NAMA's outlay - acquisition price and further investment - has been recovered."
